Well, that’s simple too.
We know that young drivers are statistically more at risk of being involved in an accident between 11pm and 5am so we incentivise young drivers not to use their car during these times. Thus, up to 40% discount*. If you do drive during these high risk hours you will still be fully insured but you will be charged a fixed fee of £60 – per night.
How will we know that the insured car is in use during these hours?
We arrange for a GPS tracking device to be professionally fitted to your vehicle. This is very discreet and will not interfere with the look and feel of your car or your driving in any way. The engineer would need to fit this device to your car within 10 days after your cover starts and the engineer will even come to your home or place of work.
Don’t think of this as a curfew. We are not saying that you can not go out after 11pm, we’re just asking that your car does not.
